The deck is great, but we prefer to sit on the outdoor pad with its own stone fireplace (the original fireplace from a cabin that once stood there). The home has four Bedrooms and three full Bathrooms. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable sitting areas, and a manicured yard which walks right out into the sandy lake. The first floor Master Suite is quiet and secluded with a beautiful view of the water. Second bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed -- convenient and cozy. On Walloon lake and incredible, this lovely country beach front home on the well-known , pristine, Walloon lake is in a private cove surrounded by woods, yet 5 miles away to the amenities of the town of Petoskey.The home, built at the end of the 20th century, features a large great room surrounding a stone fireplace, with lovely views of the lake and woods. There are two master suites (one with king, one with queen beds) and there are two smaller bedrooms that each have a bunk bedroom with a double on the bottom and a single on the top. One of these bedrooms also features a small single bed. The dinette table looks out onto the lake. Outside the great room and the dinette is a large sitting porch, also surveying the lovely views of the lake. The walk to the lake is 60 feet and there is a dock for boats which can be rented across the lake at Bear cove marina. The use of our canoe and rowboat comes included with the rental.
